Please note: this policy may be subject to change based on local or international health guidance.
1. Pre-event
We’ll continue to monitor the latest guidance and regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our attendees, including partners and staff, will always be our top priority. We’re collaborating with local government agencies and local venues to implement best practices aimed at managing the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with the latest guidelines.
Entry Requirements
Please check and comply with any entry requirements pertaining to your country of departure.
Vaccination
Please note that it is your responsibility to stay up to date with a destination’s entry requirements, as many policies now state an individual must be double vaccinated and have the booster in order to be considered fully vaccinated.
Covid-19 Symptoms
If you are experiencing or exhibiting any COVID-19 related symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19 before departure, please do not travel. Affected attendees will be given the opportunity to attend their meetings virtually. However, social and networking activities will not be accessible virtually.
Agree to the following
By attending an event, all delegates will automatically accept the following commitments:
Hosted Buyer Cancellation
For hosted buyers, normal cancellation fees for reasons other than a positive Covid-19 test or any unforeseen last-minute travel restrictions will apply.
2. At-event
Our Guidelines
Private Luxury Events (operating as Big Worldwide Ltd) has put recommended preventative measures in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, under no circumstances are we able to guarantee that you will not become infected with the virus while attending one of our events. Adherence to the PLE event policy and guidelines will be continuously monitored and enforced by company personnel.
Masks
Depending on the destination, participants at all our events will be asked to wear face coverings in line with local government and health authority advice. For example, on coach transfers, in queues, and when moving around the meeting room.
Covid-19 Symptoms
If during the event, you experience or exhibit any COVID-19 related symptoms outlined by the WHO such as a fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath, you should let us know and self-isolate until you get tested.
Our Commitment
We will continue to monitor the latest guidance and regulations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We are collaborating with local government agencies and venues to implement best practices aimed at managing the spread of COVID-19.
As a company, we are committing to the following:
Hygiene & Cleanliness
At all our events, attendees can expect to find sanitising facilities throughout the event meeting points. We’ll also be working closely with our event partners to make sure effective hygiene and cleanliness are maintained, with an enhanced focus on high-touch areas, such as door handles, elevators, restrooms, and food & beverage stations.
Detect and Protect
Every PLE event will offer proper medical support, along with a designated quarantine area, if required by local authorities.
Should the need arise, our team will collaborate with local health authorities to trace and contact all event attendees. Quick communication is key, so we’ll encourage all attendees to provide their most current contact details and use the latest versions of any communication apps.
